Icagen Tucson Innovation Center
February 26-27, 2018 | Tucson, Arizona

As part of our mission to lead advancement of early drug discovery, Icagen proudly presents the inaugural Rare Disease Desert Symposium (RDDS), a conference focused exclusively on the pre-clinical discovery of potential new therapeutics to treat rare diseases.

This two-day event, which immediately precedes Rare Disease Day on February 28, 2018, will be held at the Icagen Oro Valley location (North of Tucson). The Symposium will feature presentations from a mix of academic and industry speakers from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology communities as well as key opinion leaders from foundations committed to the identification, treatment, and cure of rare diseases. Participants will also have the opportunity to present and / or participate in poster sessions on the complexities of rare disease drug discovery.

Who Should Attend?

We encourage scientists, researchers, and executives from the pharmaceutical and biotech communities who are eager to learn more and to network in a collaborative environment of rare disease drug discovery to attend.

The Science of Advancing Rare Disease Drug Discovery

Unlike other conferences dedicated to the subject of rare disease, RDDS is unique in its focus on R&D, quality scientific data and strategic collaborations to advance drug discovery for patients with few or no therapeutics available for their disease.
