Academy Award-winning actress Renee Zellweger encourages the audience to learn more about AcuraStem’s research work in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at the 16th Annual ALS Association Walk to Defeat ALS at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, Sunday, Nov. 4. Zellweger and actress Courteney Cox were on hand to present publicist Nanci Ryder with the Walk Hero Award for her tireless efforts to raise research and services funds and awareness for patients living with ALS. Ryder was diagnosed with ALS in 2014. The AcuraStem team sponsored the Walk and spent time registering individuals affected by ALS in its new patient registry.
